In 2003, Jason Sudeikis joined SNL as a sketch writer. In 2005, he became a featured player on the show. He is famous for being the one-half of the A-Hole duo with Kristen Wiig. The 32nd season of the show welcomed a Jason Sudeikis appearance in repertory status.

Prior to his work with SNL, Sudeikis performed at ComedySportz, now Comedy City, where he was one of the founders of Der Monkenpickle, a sketch comedy troupe. After moving to Chicago, he studied at iO and became one of the founding members of the long-form team JTS Brown. Sudeikis later joined The Second City’s National Touring Company and did performances with Boom Chicago in Amsterdam. He is also one of the founders of Second City Las Vegas and studied at the Annoyance Theatre in Chicago, as well as holding regular performances at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York.

In early 2007, Sudeikis had a recurring role in 30 Rock, an NBC sitcom. He is also the right-wing talk show host on the fictional radio station WKTT in Grand Theft Auto IV.
