The first John Krasinski appearance on stage was in a satirical play written and casted by BJ Novak for Newton South High School. Inspired by David Foster Wallace’s Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, Krasinski decided to continue acting. He then went on to attend the National Theater Institute, The Royal Shakespeare Company, and The Actor’s Center. To pursue an acting career, he went to South Carolina and did commercials, guest appearances on TV shows, as well as readings of off-Broadway plays. He also appeared in the play What the Eunuch Saw by a former college classmate.

In the summer of 2000, Krasinski spent time on Late Night with Conan O’Brien as a script intern. But today, Kransinski has gone well beyond his days an intern. He’s now a star in the NBC hit The Office.
