Born and raised in Vancouver, Rogen got his start in stand-up comedy as a teenager, and by the time he was 16, he finished second in the Vancouver Amateur Comedy Contest. Rogen and Apatow re-teamed with Rogen starring opposite Katherine Heigl in the 2007 smash “Knocked Up” that grossed more than $148 million in domestic box office receipts. Also in 2007, Rogen struck gold with a supporting turn in the teen comedy “Superbad,” which he co-wrote with friend Evan Goldberg.
