Andrea Immer Robinson is an internationally recognized wine expert and professional chef. She graduated from the French Culinary Institute with honors, and is one of only sixteen women in the world to be named Master Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers. She is also the first women to ever be named Best Sommelier by the Sommelier Society of America. In addition, Andrea is also the first appointed Dean of Wine Studies at the prestigious French Culinary Institute of America, in New York City. Over her career she has been awarded numerous other honors, most notably including the 2002 Wine and Spirit Professional of the Year by the James Beard Foundation. Andrea has written numerous books on wine and cooking, along with several magazine columns.
