Although he is the son of the famous chef, Paula Deen, Bobby Deen has become a star in his own right. As a child, Bobby, along with his mother and brother, launched a home-based lunch delivery service called The Bag Lady. The business model was simple, his mother made the sandwiches, and then he and his brother would deliver them to the local businesses. Within just two years the business had become so successful that the Deen’s decided to open their first restaurant in Savannah called The Lady. Five years later the restaurant had outgrown its small space, which led the family moving to a bigger location and renaming the restaurant to The Lady & Sons. Today, Bobby works with his brother to manage the restaurant, as well as host their series Road Tasted on the Food Network.
