Mary Nolan is known by most as the host of the Food Network’s Chic & Easy. Prior to joining the Food Network, Mary Nolan attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she took several food and nutrition classes. While at school she also worked part time at a local Italian restaurant. Eventually, Mary began a small catering company, catering small events for family and friends. After graduating college Mary found a job in New York, at Gourmet Magazine, which combined her love of food and words. She eventually became the advertising copywriter there, where her coworkers persuaded her to audition for the Food Network show. Since becoming host of Chic & Easy, Mary has also gone back to school at the Institute of Culinary Education, where she hopes to further her knowledge and experience in the food industry.
