Biography

Much of Stephen Colbert’s success can be attributed to his alter ego, the right-wing blowhard also named Stephen Colbert who anchors Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” each weeknight. Colbert has mastered the news parody genre, as the consistently high ratings for “The Colbert Report” prove.

The alumnus of Chicago’s Second City improv troupe first established his character as a correspondent on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” From 1997-2005, Colbert contributed hilarious segments to the show but also did serious work behind the scenes as one of the show’s writers and earned four Emmy awards for it. In 2005, he launched his own show, a parody of cable talk shows such as “The O’Reilly Factor.” Colbert also co-wrote and co-starred in the film and television versions of “Strangers With Candy.”

A Stephen Colbert appearance on “The Colbert Report” always elicits laughter, and a Stephen Colbert speaker engagement or Stephen Colbert endorsement can do the same for your event. By taking advantage of TSE’s experience, you can easily arrange for a Stephen Colbert appearance.

Stephen Colbert Speaker

Without a doubt, the most famous Stephen Colbert speaker appearance was at the 2006 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner. The Stephen Colbert speech criticized the Bush administration, which incited controversy but subsequently made the clip of the event an online sensation and his show a ratings success. The ruckus means any Stephen Colbert speaker engagement will attract attention.

Stephen Colbert Appearance

Stephen Colbert appearances are not limited to his show. The satirist also voices characters on shows for Comedy Central and the Cartoon Network, appeared on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Spin City” and contributed to the best-selling book “America (The Book): A Citizen’s Guide to Democracy Inaction.” With that resume, a Stephen Colbert appearance has power.

Stephen Colbert Endorsement

In the past, Stephen Colbert endorsements included General Motors, whose commercials he appeared in as an investigator searching for the fictional Mr. Goodwrench. As one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2006, any Stephen Colbert endorsement has value.
