Biography

Bob Eubanks is best known as the long-time host of the game show “The Newlywed Game,” which ran on and off from nearly 40 years. While asking questions to contestants on the show, he coined what would become his signature phrase – “makin’ whoopee.” Eubanks first entered the entertainment industry as a disc jockey and music promoter in Los Angeles. In 1964, he arranged the first Los Angeles performance from The Beatles and introduced them to the eager crowd at the famous Hollywood Bowl. His other television game show hosting gigs included “Card Sharks,” “Dream House,” “The Diamond Head Game” and “Trivia Trap.” Today he hosts the “Most Outrageous Game Show Moments” series of specials for NBC.
