Jerry Springer is the current host of “America’s Got Talent.” He also had a stint as Democratic mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio. Springer entered politics as a political campaign aide to Robert F. Kennedy. After Kennedy’s assassination, he joined the Cincinnati law firm of Frost & Jacobs, now Frost Brown Todd.

In September 1991, The Jerry Springer Show was born, having been developed by WLWT-TV to replace its Phil Donahue Show. It started as a longer version of Springer’s commentaries, with politics as its main topic.

Springer also had the chance to host several shows in the UK, including Greed in 2001. In 2007, he began hosting “Nothing But the Truth,” the UK version of “Nada más que la verdad.”
