Michael Skupin is best known for his appearance as a contestant on the television show Survivor: The Australian Outback, where he was a member of the Kucha tribe. He proved to be a highly controversial contestant when he killed a small wild boar, and then went on to paint his face with the boar’s blood. The incident caused a brief uproar from PETA, but was eventually overshadowed by an injury that caused him to be airlifted to the hospital.
