Ali Barone is best known as the bubbly carpenter who has made over rooms for unsuspecting homeowners all across the United States. She spent two seasons as the carpenter of TLC’s hit series While You Were Out, redesigning and decorating the homes. Today, Ali works as a freelance artist and designer, designing spaces all over the New York City area. She has designed sets as the Art Director of Comedy Centrals Pulp Comics and has designed sets for various television commercials and theaters. Her ability to create unique and exciting spaces has led to a very successful career as an interior designer and carpenter. In addition, she works as a part time design consultant for her husbands New York City based construction business. Ali has also enjoyed working as and educator, and art director for the city of New York. Most recently she severed as the production designer for several galas and events held in the city.
