Licensed Carpenter Amy Matthews is the real deal. Working in home improvement since age fourteen, Amy has traveled all over the world tackling various fix-up projects and building homes for people in need. In 2009 she traveled to New Orleans with Habitat for Humanity to take part in Jimmy Carter’s International Work Project and in early 2010 she’ll travel to Asia on her annual trip to build homes for others. Along with the countless hours she spends volunteering, Matthews is also the host of several DIY Network shows including Sweat Equity, Bathroom Renovations, 10 Things You Must Know, and the new season of Blog Cabin.
