As president of Maurice Villency Inc., Manhattan’s legendary furniture brand, Eric Villency certainly knows what he’s talking about when it comes to design. Growing up, he was always interested in design, mostly because he was always surrounded by the family business, which was founder and named after his grandfather Maurice. After graduating from The University of Wisconsin with a degree in business, Eric went to work for his grandfathers company as a design consultant, lending his eye for design, color, and image for the company’s advertising campaigns. Today, Eric is president of the furniture design company, and recently opened a new store in New York City, and a new production facility in Italy. He has also launched a number of notable design projects including The Rudy Giuliani Urgent Care Unit at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York, The Delta airlines Miami Crown Lounge, The Club Level lounge at Citi-Field, and The Bryant Park Hotel.

He gives lectures that inform and educate the audience on what it takes to work in the fashion and design industry.
