Steve Watson was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Growing up, he always dreamed of pursing a career in the entertainment industry, but he never expected to fall in love with construction on the way. While working part time for a local contractor, Watson leaned the ropes of the construction business, the trade that would keep a roof over his head and food on the table while he continued to pursue a career in the entertainment business. Steve eventually started his own remodeling business which primarily focused on residential home improvement. In 1998, he moved to Los Angeles to try his hand at a career in comedy. He quickly found success at several major comedy clubs including The Improv, The Ice House, and The Comedy Store. He has also been the host of The Discovery Channel and HGTV’s Monster House and Don’t Sweat It.
