Michael Cromartie is currently the Vice President at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, and he directs both the Evangelicals in Civic Life and Religion and Media programs. He is also an adjunct professor at the Reformed Theological Seminary and a senior advisor to the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life. Previously Cromartie had served a four year term with the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, after being appointed by President George W. Bush in 2004. Cromartie also acts as editor and a contributing writer to several different religious publications.
