In 2003, Brandon Webb joined the Arizona Diamondbacks, where he became a candidate for Rookie of the Year. During the 2006 season, Webb had a solid 8-0 record through his first 13 starts. His 16 wins that season tied five other pitchers for the most victories in the National League. Also, his 3.10 ERA was fourth best in the majors.
