The first Ray Knight appearance in the major leagues was with Cincinnati in 1974. But he is probably best known for his stellar performance at the 1986 World Series when he hit the tie braking home run to score the winning run that brought his team victory and earned him the World Series MVP award.
In 1986, Knight won the Babe Ruth Award for the National League and The Sporting News Comeback Player of the Year Award. However, despite his World Series heroics, he was treated poorly by the Mets organization and was traded for the following season.
After retiring, the next baseball Ray Knight appearance came in a brief stint as manager of the Cincinnati Reds. There was also a brief Ray Knight appearance as a golf caddy for his wife, famed women’s golfer Nancy Lopez.
Ray Knight Speaker
Ray Knight once revealed in an interview that he had a heart attack in 2003. Based on what he learned following his heart attack, he and his wife, Ladies Professional Golf Association Hall of Famer Nancy Lopez, have launched a campaign to raise awareness about the threats and dangers of heart attack. With Knight’s experience of fighting for his life, a Ray Knight speaker experience will be about more than just baseball. It will be about fighting against health issues and using your will to overcome physical adversity.
Ray Knight Appearance
With Knight’s inspiring life story and spectacular baseball gameplay, your audience will be inspired and motivated with a Ray Knight appearance. But that’s not all a Ray Knight appearance brings. As a former manager, seasoned broadcaster, and the rare accomplished athlete who still lives in the shadow of his significant other’s fame, Ray Knight’s story is about teaching and interacting with people.
Ray Knight Endorsement
A Ray Knight endorsement is appealing on more levels than just as a former baseball player. Ray Knight was an accomplished athlete who agreed to caddy for his spouse? Why, because Ray Knight represents devotion, dedication, and sincerity. Ray Knight doesn’t care as much about self promotion as her cares about helping promote others.
