Title: Former MLB PitcherRob Dibble made his major league pitching debut on June 29, 1988 for the Cincinnati Reds and was a promising young pitcher. He became the 14th National League pitcher to accomplish a nine-strike/three strikeout half inning. In 1990 Dibble was named NLCS MVP and was an All-Star in 1990 and 1991.
In 1995 Dibble signed with the Chicago Cubs but didn’t play in a game due to injury. He signed with the Florida Marlins for the 96 season but missed the entire injury because on injury again, he retired soon after. After he retired, Dibble joined ESPN in 1998 as a baseball analyst and has also worked on the Best Damn Sports Show Period as a co-host.
