In high school, Tim Lincecum played two seasons of varsity baseball, becoming state player of the year and lead his team to the 2003 3A state championship. Taking his career to even greater heights, he went on to play collegiate baseball in 2004, where he became the first player ever to be named both the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year and the Pac-10 Pitcher of the Year.
