A graduate from Xavier University, James Posey was chosen as the 18th pick in the 1999 NBA draft by the Denver Nuggets. He played for a couple different teams through the years before ending up with the Miami Heat in 2005. In his 2005-06 season, he averaged 7.8 points and 4.8 rebounds. He also was a great help in leading the Heat to victory in the playoffs.

Posey became a key player for Miami, helping immensely when the team’s star players Shaquille O’Neal and Dwayne Wade were double teamed. He was always there to get the ball and take control. Posey is known for his talent with three point shooting.
