Biography

Until reaching the NBA, a Nate Robinson appearance could have taken place on more than just the hardwood. In high school, in addition to being a basketball star, Robinson also led his schools in track and football. Even at the NCAA level, Robinson continued to excel in football, playing for the Washington football team while also staring for the Cougars on the hardwood and leading them to two consecutive NCAA tournament appearances.

Although considered extremely short for a basketball player at 5’9”, Robinson was drafted with the 21st overall selection in the 2005 NBA Draft and immediately sent to New York. In New York, despite his small stature – or perhaps because of it – Robinson has compiled impressive stats and is a Madison Square Garden fan favorite. Under new Knicks head coach Mike D’Antoni and his run-and-gun style of basketball, Robinson is succeeding. In a five game period over the 2009 season, Robinson averaged 30 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists per game.

Nate Robinson Speaker

A Nate Robinson speaker appearance is a chance for this short (by NBA standards) guard to tell his inspiring story about succeeding athletically even when most people don’t think you can because of physical limitations.

Nate Robinson Appearance

The most famous Nate Robinson appearance came in the 2009 Sprite Slam Dunk Competition over all-star weekend. For his dunk, Robinson donned a green Knicks jersey representing Kryptonite in order to counter competitor Dwight Howard’s Superman theme. The 5’9” Robinson then proceeded to jumper over the 6’11” Howard for the winning slam.

Nate Robinson Endorsement

Because of his short stature, Robinson is one of the most recognized non-star-caliber players in the NBA, making a Nate Robinson endorsement a more affordable but still recognizable option for a company hoping to secure the endorsement of an NBA player.
