Five-time NBA World Champion, Steve Kerr is now a retired basketball player who recently became the new general manager and president of basketball operations for the Phoenix Suns. Kerr is the most accurate three point shooter in league history and began his basketball career in college playing for the University of Arizona.

After the Wildcats reached the final four in 1988, Kerr was drafted by the Suns in the second round of the 1988 draft. He also played with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic for a short period of time before signing with the Chicago Bulls in 1993. When Michael Jordan returned to the Bulls for the 1995-96 season, the Bulls defeated the Seattle Supersonics in the NBA Finals; this began his run of four championships in a row.

Steve Kerr is the only non-Celtic player to win four straight titles. When he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs, the team made it to the finals for the first time in franchise history. After the 2003 Finals, in which the Spurs won, Kerr announced that he would retire. Once he retired, he was a broadcast analyst for TNT and also had his own segment called Steve’s Refreshing Thoughts where he brought up interesting NBA facts. His voice was also used for commentary of the EA sports video game NBA Live 2007.
