Title: NBA Hall of FamerWillis Reed, former basketball player, spent the entirety of his career playing for the New York Knicks. In 1982 he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. This 1970 MVP was crucial to the Knick’s two championship triumphs in the 1969-1970 season, as well as the 1970-1971 season. Despite his torn muscle injury, he came back into the game and was the leading inspiration for his team to go on and win. Reed averaged 18.7 points and 12.9 rebounds and played 650 games.
Reed’s injury caused his career to be cut short.
