Over 11 seasons in the NFL, he played linebacker for the Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins. After retiring in 1996, Del Rio worked his way through the coaching ranks and got his big shot as the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2003. He has proven to be one of the hottest young coaches in the NFL as he has turned the Jags into a perennial playoff team. He is also known as one of the best dressed and most intelligent coaches in the league.
