Morgan Wootten is the winningest head coach in high school basketball history. For nearly half a century, there was a Morgan Wootten appearance on the sidelines for DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland. And during those years, Wootten compiled a record most other legendary head coaches would be jealous of. His DeMatha teams would go on to win numerous championships, and Wootten would coach a number of famous NBA stars and successful head coaches including Adrian Dantley, Danny Ferry, Sidney Lowe, and Keith Bogans.
