Title: UCLA Head Football CoachRick Neuheisel was the starting quarterback for the UCLA Bruins. In 1983 he led the Bruins to the Pac-10 championship and the Rose Bowl. In 1984, he again led the team to a Rose Bowl and was named the most valuable player. He also set an NCAA record that year for single game pass completion percentage by completing 25 of 27 passes (92.6%) in a win over Washington. In addition to being successful on the field, Neuheisel was also successful in the classroom, being named to the 1984 Pac-10 All-Academic team.
After his successful playing career, Neuheisel turned to coaching. He has served as the head coach for the University of Colorado Buffaloes and the University of Washington Huskies. He was also an offensive coordinator for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens after being promoted from quarterbacks coach following the 2006 NFL season.
