If you took a poll of NFL fans and asked them to pick one player who should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame but is not, the answer would often be Art Monk. Nicknamed “Quiet Man,” Monk was perhaps the best receiver of the 1980s and the numbers back that up. In 15 years in the NFL with the Washington Redskins and short stints with the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles, Monk racked up more than 900 receptions and he had an incredible streak of 183 straight games with at least one catch. He also set a single-season record with 106 catches, yet he has been passed over for the Hall of Fame several times.
Perhaps part of the reason is that he’s always been so humble and not one to brag about his accomplishments. But in recent years there has been a push to give him his due and it would be no surprise to see him make it to Canton soon. Now that he is retired, the former Syracuse star runs a football camp and also works with the Good Samaritan Foundation.
Art Monk had some great teammates on the Redskins, and TSE is ready to be your teammate when it comes to arranging for an Art Monk speaker appearance or Art Monk endorsement. We can make it easy for you and help negotiate the best rate.
**Art Monk Speaker**
At some point in the near future there is bound to be an Art Mont speaker appearance at the induction ceremony at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Why the man with the fifth-most receptions in NFL history is not in the Hall of Fame is still a mystery to many.
**Art Monk Appearance**
If you check the list of the NFL All-Decade Team of the 1980s you will see an Art Monk appearance, and he was also a member of three Super Bowl champions while with the Redskins.
**Art Monk Endorsement**
Even though he never said much in his career, an Art Monk endorsement can say a lot. He still has fans all over the world who respect his accomplishments and the way he played the game.
