Doug Flutie’s career in professional football spanned two decades where he repeatedly overcame on and off the field challenges. Flutie also played for the San Diego Chargers and the Patriots again before retiring in 2005. Considered too small to succeed in the pros, Flutie proved all the experts wrong. He has now taken on a new role as a college football analyst on ESPN and ABC.
