While Lawrence Taylor grabbed a lot of headlines for his performances both on and off the field, his teammate Harry Carson was just as important to the New York Giants teams of the late 1970s and 1980s. In contrast to L.T., Carson quietly went about his work without causing any controversy, but he certainly caused havoc for opposing offenses. The linebacker out of South Carolina was elected to nine NFL Pro Bowls and was an important part of the Giants team that won Super Bowl XXI. He is a member of both the Pro Football and College Football Halls of Fame, and he is now active in broadcasting and consulting. In addition to all his accomplishments on the field, Carson is known as one of the inventors of the now commonplace “Gatorade Shower” given to winning coaches.
Harry Carson was a part of one of the best defenses in NFL history, and he can be a part of your next conference or event. All it takes is one call or email to TSE and we’ll work with you to arrange for a Harry Carson speaker appearance or Harry Carson endorsement.
Harry Carson Speaker
Prior to his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, there were numerous Harry Carson speaker appearances questioning the selection process (which is controlled by the media, and not players or coaches). It took longer than it should have for Carson to be elected, but the voters finally did the right thing in 2006 and voted him in.
Harry Carson Appearance
In addition to his sports consulting and promotion company, Harry Carson Inc., you can see Harry Carson appearances on the FOX show “Giants Game Plan.”
Harry Carson Endorsement
Legendary coach Bill Parcells gave a huge Harry Carson endorsement when he always had the linebacker stand by him during the national anthem for good luck.
