Joey Galloway earned numerous honors as a college football star, where he finished in the top five all time in many of the Ohio State University’s receiving records. As a junior, he caught 47 passes for 946 yards and tied with Cris Carter for the school record of 11 touchdowns. Additionally, his stellar performance earned him First-Team All-Big Ten Conference honors. During his senior year, he earned Second-Team All-Big Ten Conference. Galloway left the university fourth in both career receptions and receiving yards, and second in touchdown receptions.
Originally drafted by the Seattle Seahawks eighth overall in 1995, Galloway immediately made impact as a rookie, capturing records in receptions and receiving yards. During Galloway’s stint with the Seahawks, he was also regarded as a successful punter.
