Kellen Winslow, a former San Diego Charger and premier tight end of his era, earned many honors throughout his nine year football career. Winslow was an All-Pro three times; he was also voted to the All-AFC four times and appeared in the Pro Bowl five times. The Pro Football Hall of Fame named Kellen Winslow to be one of the 52 players in the AFL-NFL First 25 year team.

Kellen Winslow led the NFL in receptions in 1980, 1981, 1988 and 1989. As a prominent tight end, he played in four consecutive AFC pro bowl games. In 1995, Kellen Winslow received his highest honor, being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

In 1989, Kellen Winslow went from Football star to broadcaster, becoming a co-host of “Sports Wrap”, which was a weekly recap show shown in San Diego. He also served as an analyst for the University of Missouri both on television and the radio. In 1994, Winslow worked for ESPN as a sideline reporter and also as an analyst for the “Saturday Night Primetime” broadcasts.
