Larry Csonka, an NFL legend and Hall of Famer, began his football career at Syracuse University and set many records with the Orangemen while playing for them. In 1968, the Miami Dolphins chose Larry Csonka as their first round draft pick. While playing with the Dolphins, he led them to three consecutive Super Bowl appearances. During this time, he also earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors. He was also named Super Bowl MVP when the Dolphins beat the Minnesota Vikings and in 1973 was named Super Athlete of the Year.

Although he left the NFL in 1974, he returned in 1976 signing with the New York Giants and eventually returning to the Miami Dolphins in 1979. Larry Csonka is among the top 20 leading runners in the history of the NFL and in 1987 he was elected to the Professional Football Hall of Fame.

Larry Csonka continues to work; he is the host and producer of an outdoor adventure program which airs on the Outdoor Life Network. He also travels around the country as a sports humor/motivational speaker through his own company called Csonka Promotions, Inc.
