Len Dawson, a former NFL great who led the Kansas City Chiefs to a Super Bowl victory in 1970. Len Dawson entered the NFL in 1956, when he was the first round draft choice for the Pittsburgh Steelers. During his career he became one of the most accurate passers and in 1981 was ranked number four among the sixty eligible career passers.

After nineteen years in the NFL, one of the longest careers in professional football, Len Dawson retired. In 1987, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. After retirement, Dawson hosted the HBO show Inside the NFL.

Dawson overcame the deadly illness of prostate cancer and has since become a spokesperson for the American Cancer Society. He is also involved in many charities that deal with children. Currently he is a sports anchor in Kansas City.
