Marty Booker first displayed his athletic prowess in high school, where he was a two-sport standout in football and track. As a football player, he played quarterback. As a runner, he placed second in the state high jump finals during his senior year.
Booker was a three-year starter in college. He was also an All-Independent first team and ranks second in school history for career receptions.
