He was also drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 1965 American Football League draft. He spent four seasons with the Bills, including its 1965 AFL Championship season, when he was selected to the AFL All-Star Team. He also joined the Boston Patriots in 1969 and the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1971.
