Biography

While it might seem like the NFL has been king of the American sports scene forever, it wasn’t that long ago that Major League Baseball and the NBA were more popular. But thanks in large part to the efforts of former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue, pro football is easily the top sport. In 17 years at the helm of the NFL, he guided the league to remarkable prosperity with enormous TV contracts, a thorough drug testing program, expansion of the fan base internationally and a revenue sharing/salary cap system that seems to work well for everyone. Educated at Georgetown University, where he was a star basketball player and graduated with a law degree, Tagliabue had the tough job of succeeding the very popular Pete Rozelle as NFL commissioner. But when “Tags” turned over the job to Roger Goodell in 2006, the NFL had become a tremendous revenue machine and entrenched in American culture. Monday Night Football is must-see TV for millions every week, despite that fact that they probably spent all day Sunday watching football as well. Now that he is retired from the NFL, Tagliabue is stepping back into the legal and business world, with a special interest in the developing market and economy of China.

Paul Tagliabue is one of the most high-profile figures in American sports and business, so you are going to need some help with the Paul Tagliabue speaker negotiations. TSE has experience working with some of the world’s most powerful people, and we can help you land a Paul Tagliabue appearance.

Paul Tagliabue Speaker

While he was head of the NFL, many of the Paul Tagliabue speaker appearances were to hand down suspensions or fines, but he did much more than just police the league. His intelligence, foresight and innovative ideas will all come through in a Paul Tagliabue speech.

Paul Tagliabue Appearance

With his many talents, a Paul Tagliabue appearance is perfect for just about any gathering, from business people to lawyers to sports fans.

Paul Tagliabue Endorsement

Perhaps the biggest Paul Tagliabue endorsement came from the NFL owners who kept renewing his contract. That can be a tough group to satisfy because they are often looking out for their own interests, but Tagliabue proved to be a master of compromise and bringing people together, and an endorsement from him will say a lot about your company.
