Biography

Johnny Unitas would not have been “Johnny U” without the great hands of Raymond Berry. In 13 seasons with the Baltimore Colts, mostly with Unitas at quarterback, Berry was one of the premier wide receivers in the NFL. He was named to the NFL Pro Bowl six times, in addition to being on the NFL 75th Anniversary Team and a Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee. But Berry’s road to the NFL was rather improbable, considering that he had bad eyesight and he had to wear custom-made shoes because his legs were not the same length. Perhaps because of that, he was not a standout at SMU and got little attention when he was drafted in the 20th round by the Colts. But he went on to win two NFL championships and went down in history as one of the best players the game has ever seen. After retiring in 1967, Berry has a successful but rather brief stint as the head coach of the New England Patriots, which he took to Super Bowl XX where they lost to the Chicago Bears.

TSE can help you arrange for a Raymond Berry speaker appearance or Raymond Berry endorsement. With our experience and dedicated staff, we can negotiate the lowest possible Raymond Berry appearance fee.

Raymond Berry Speaker

With a Raymond Berry speaker appearance, you can be sure the NFL legend won’t drop the ball, both literally and figuratively. Perhaps the most remarkable stat of his career is that he only fumbled, or dropped the ball, once.

Raymond Berry Appearance

Probably the most famous Raymond Berry appearance came in the 1958 NFL Championship Game, in which he caught 12 balls for 178 yards in an overtime victory that is often referred to as the greatest game every played.

Raymond Berry Endorsement

It’s been more than 40 years since the last time Raymond Berry lined up on the football field, but the power of a Raymond Berry endorsement is still going strong.
