If Steve Bartkowski had played for a better team during his 12 years in the NFL, his career statistics might be even more impressive than they already are. As the quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons for more than a decade, Bartkowski tossed 156 touchdowns and made it to the NFL Pro Bowl twice, including in 1981when he led the NFL with 31 touchdown passes. He also led the Falcons to their first ever playoff appearance and first ever playoff victory. Bartkowski played his college ball at the University of California at Berkeley, and he was the #1 overall selection in the 1975 NFL Draft. After retiring from the NFL in 1986, Bartkowski entered the business world and he now serves on the board of directors of the Falcons.
