Loren Roberts started playing golf professionally in 1975 at age 20 and just recently in 2009 was named the year’s Senior Player of the Year by the Golf Writers Association of America. Roberts After 30 years and 8 victories on the PGA Tour, Loren Roberts decided to turn his attention to the Champions Tour, where has had a great deal of success. Since joining the Champions Tour, he has won 11 tournaments including four major tournaments. In just his third tournament as a member of the tour, he won the 2005 JELD-WEN Tradition, which is one of the five annual major tournaments. Earning his nickname the “Boss of the Moss” for his outstanding ability to putt the ball, Loren Roberts has consistently been amongst the league leaders in scoring average, including twice being awarded the Byron Nelson Award for having the lowest scoring average on the Champions Tour.

Along with being a top golfer, Loren Roberts tries to give back to communities as much as he can. He hosts an annual celebrity pro – am tournament every year in his home state of Tennessee, in which he donates all proceeds to the Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center of Memphis, Tennessee.
