In 2006, Time magazine named her “one of 100 people who shape our world,” quite an accomplishment for a 17-year-old, but then golf superstar Michelle Wie is no ordinary teen. A native of Hawaii, Wie has gained national attention for her attempts to make a cut at a PGA Tour event against men.
