Brett Sutter was the 179th overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He was a former captain of the Red Deer Rebels, his uncle Brent’s team, and he played with his cousin Brandon. He is currently with the Quad City Flames of the AHL.

Brett is the son of Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter making him part of the famous hockey playing Sutter family.
