Biography

The first Abby Wambach appearance in the professional soccer scene was in 2002 when she joined the Washington Freedom in the WUSA. However, she played in her first youth league at age four. By 1998, her senior year in high school, Abby Wambach was named the NSCAA Player of the Year and the Umbro Player of the Year. In her first year in college she received NCAA first team all-American honors, and she helped deliver an NCAA National Championship to the University of Florida. In addition, she was named All-SEC four straight seasons and conference Player of the Year twice. She also set school records for assists, points, game-winning goals, hat tricks, and is the University of Florida’s all-time leading scorer in women’s soccer.

Her excellent play in the 2001 Nike US Women’s Cup and the WUSA earned her a spot in the US WNT. Since then, Wambach has established herself as the most formidable offensive player on the team.

Abby Wambach Speaker

In 2004, Abby Wambach campaigned for John Kerry’s candidacy in the US presidential elections. She also participated in exhibition games with the Washington Freedom to raise awareness and gain support for women’s soccer and the revival of the women’s soccer league. Thanks to these public service experiences, Abby Wambach has plenty of practice in front of large crowds, and an Abby Wambach speaker appearance at your next corporate function will both inspire and motivate.

Abby Wambach Appearance

While Wambach’s impressive soccer credentials sound serious, the Olympic medalist is often described as laid-back and funny. She is known to calm her teammates before games by dancing and singing on the field. And the same is true in her public speaking life. An Abby Wambach appearance at your next corporate function will provide a light and friendly atmosphere for your audience however serious the agenda is. Contact TSE now and we will oversee Abby Wambach appearance negotiations with her agent on your behalf and you can bring Abby to entertain your crowd.
