The first Holly McPeak appearance in the pro beach volleyball scene was in 1987. McPeak was named All PAC-10 and All-NCAA Team in 1990, and led her team to the NCAA Championship. She was voted NCAA Freshman of the Year in 1987. All totaled, she has 72 career titles, second only to Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh for the most of any women in the sport’s history. In 1997, she and partner Lisa Arce captured second place at the World Championships. She won the bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics along with former partner Elaine Youngs. McPeak was named AVP Best Defensive Player for three years in a row from 2002 to 2004. She is one of just five women worldwide to participate in all three Olympic beach volleyball games. In addition, McPeak has won over $1 million in prize money, making her the first female pro beach athlete to break the million dollar mark. Holly McPeak Speaker
