Mike Schlappi is a four-time Paralympic medalist in wheelchair basketball. He won gold medals in the 1988 and 1992 Paralympics and bronze medals in the 1996 and 2000 Paralympics. He is also the only U.S.A wheelchair basketball player to be a member of the past four Paralympic teams.

Mike is a member of the National Speakers Association and founder of the Attitude Therapy at Intermountain Health Care in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is a program that provides motivational speaking for businesses and organizations. Mike also wrote a book called Bulletproof Principles for Striking Gold in which he tells his dynamic life story.
