Biography

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Chris Evert dominated tennis courts around the world like no player before or since. Voted Female Athlete of the Year four times by the Associated Press, Chris Evert, or Chris Evert-Lloyd as some remember her, won 157 career titles, 18 of which were Grand Slam singles titles, including a record seven at the French Open. Perhaps some of her success was due to a long-standing rivalry - a Chris Evert appearance at a tournament often guaranteed a Martina Navratilova appearance, as the two battled to be the leading female tennis star. Chris Evert retired in 1989 with the best career win-loss record in singles matches of any tennis player in history at 1,309-146, a 90 percent win rate. In addition to the headlines she made on the court, she was also a celebrity off the court with her marriage to British tennis player John Lloyd. Evert has also been linked to golfer Greg Norman, actor Burt Reynolds and tennis star Jimmy Connors.

As one of the top female athletes of all-time, Chris Evert appearances continue to bring out many fans. TSE has experience arranging for celebrity appearances and can help handle all the details and negotiations to bring a Chris Evert speaker appearance to your event.

Chris Evert Speaker

In 1989, one Chris Evert speaker appearance went down in the history books when she became the first tennis player and still the only female tennis player to host “Saturday Night Live.” Years later, Chris Evert speaker appearances still draw attention.

Chris Evert Appearance

She may have been retired for nearly two decades, but a Chris Evert appearance on the court still occurs regularly as the Florida resident operates a tennis academy. Aspiring players and other fans flock to these Chris Evert appearances.

Chris Evert Endorsement

Early in her career, Chris Evert endorsed a line of sportswear for Puritan Fashions Corp. The owner of the company was so impressed with the professionalism and success of a Chris Evert endorsement that he named a racehorse after her that eventually was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame.
