Biography

Jennifer Capriati is widely considered one of the most talented American women to ever step foot on a tennis court. The New York native moved with her family to Florida at the age of 10 to train with tennis superstar Chris Evert’s father, Jimmy. At just 13, Capriati gained worldwide fame as the youngest player to win the junior singles title at the French Open. She turned professional on March 5, 1990, and while not yet 14, Capriati won her debut and was featured on the cover of “Sports Illustrated.” She closed out her first season as number eight in the world. At the 1992 Olympic Games, Capriati took home a gold medal in the singles category, defeating Steffi Graf in the final round. Capriati was ranked number one in the world in 2001, the year she also won Grand Slam singles titles at the Australian and French Opens. The Florida resident has earned more than $10 million in career prize money with a singles record of 430-176 and 14 career titles.

As one of the most famous tennis players in the world, Jennifer Capriati appearances always draw a crowd. Let TSE score an ace by arranging for a Jennifer Capriati speaker engagement at your event.
